One of the early warm-up shots taken during my shoot with The Darcys. For this first series, I used my Fed 5 and Rollei Retro 400 film. (I don’t think Mike took his sunglasses off at any point during the shoot.)

By the way, this shot is not at all representative of the photograph I think is going in the book. Later on, the Holga made its first appearance, the slide film came out, and things got weird.

Train in vain

This is SkyTrain. It’s pretty much how I get to work. As much as I enjoy driving cars, owning a car and filling it with gas is muy expensive! The train, on the other hand, costs me $96 per semester (yes, four months!) as a university student (which I technically still am, although these days it seems I pay tuition more for the universal bus pass and tax benefits than for any sort of higher learning.)
