These shots make me think of James Joyce and Ulysses. I don’t know why.  There’s a hint of Dublin, I guess.

Holga trickery!

I had a little fun with double exposures during The Darcys‘ gig at The Bourbon in Vancouver.  I shot Kirby (far left, far right) from two different angles on a single frame of film, and in the process (rather accidentally) made it seem as though Jason and Mike (center) were playing side by side, when they weren’t.

After more than two weeks on the road, stretching from Toronto to Vancouver and back again, The Darcys are back home.  We here at 14 Giants congratulate the boys on a job well done.  Above is a brand new Holga shot of their gear, snapped at Cafe Deux Soleils in Vancouver on November 07, 2008.

An early test shot with my Oktomat toy camera.  (It had been sitting undeveloped for some time now.)  Basically, the camera has eight shutters and fires in quick succession on a single frame of film.
