Yesterday consisted of:
- A road trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, where yours truly lollygagged between wineries doing wine tastings in 30 degree (C.) weather. After the third winery, I was feeling pret-ty fine. I remember the sunroof being open and singing along to Pink Floyd on the radio, but then, well, there’s a blank spot.
- A picnic near Niagara River, where prosciutto and croissants and fine cheeses were consumed.
- Ice cream back at Niagara-on-the-Lake.
- A brief stop at Niagara Falls (I haven’t been there since 2001).
- A return to Toronto in the evening, followed by late-night Chinese food at New Ho King!
I’d show you pics from all the lollygagging in Niagara, but I forgot my digital camera. Maybe it’s best you don’t see those anyway. I can maybe come up with a pic of myself from Niagara Falls, though. A friend of mine had her camera and snapped a few of me. Best to keep an eye out for it in the next day or so.
Here’s New Ho King, anyway:

It’s been an amazing time in the city so far. I’ve done so much. Hard to believe that it all comes to an end on Tuesday morning, when I fly back to Vancouver. I’ll only be there for a few days too, before I turn around and travel home to The Hidden Valley on Friday for the long weekend. (I’m coming, Deli-Cat!)
