A few odds and ends for you, dear readers:
It’s a holiday here tomorrow in British Columbia (BC Day), which means a long weekend. I love it, except that I’ve been saddled with some additional boxes of possessions that arrived at the new apartment last night. Just when I thought I had everything accounted for, I’m suddenly left remembering “Oh yeah… I guess I still have this stuff too.” I hate when that happens.
I’m in love with Lykke Li’s album, Youth Novels.
I tested out the video function of my new digital camera. You can see a pan of the neighborhood over in the sidebar. The quality is much improved over previous efforts.
I’m off to Toronto in two weeks. Toronto = home base for The Darcys. The Darcys are playing a gig in downtown T.O. on August 22nd. You can expect that I will be there, and that all of my manic behaviors will be on display every day I’m there in the city. No idea yet if I’ll be able to meet the guys, but back-channel discussions are underway. Rest assured: this blog will explode if it all comes together.
