A lot changed.

Okay, not everything. I mean, I still love The Darcys. That hasn’t changed. (Mine is the greatest love of all.) I still enjoy Keno too. Oh, and my fondness for Diet Pepsi is as strong as ever.

So what’s new?

I got myself a fancy new site design. You like?

Here’s a rundown of the site’s features:

• Asides (which people seem to love).
• A featured Video section in the sidebar.
• Menu Categories. Mmm, tasty. You’ll notice drop-down menus appear at the top of the site (currently, “Lomography” drops down to reveal a link to “Lomo Cam” pics, “Holga Cam” pics, etc.) More will appear over time - the subcategories won’t appear until there’s a post in that subcategory.
• Tags to help you isolate posts dealing with specific subject matter. (Say, for instance, you want to see every post I’ve made about TV shows. You could search for that specific show in the search bar at the top of the site. Or you could look up the tag in the sidebar console to find, for instance, a general tag for posts about “TV,” or any posts related to Battlestar Galactica. For reals!

You may notice a couple of bugs along the way. It’s expected. The comment system, for instance, hasn’t been fully tested.  It’s a new install, and so your first comment may be moderated.  But all of this stuff will be ironed out.

In the meantime, enjoy yourself. Pull up a chair, kick back, and waste some time. Sure, there’s probably something else that you should be doing, but if you really wanted to do it, you wouldn’t be here. So just go with it. Be naughty. Read some posts, look at some photos, watch some videos, etc.
